I am located in San Jose, California and I service most of Santa Clara county, San Mateo County, Alameda County, and Contra Costa county. I am not opposed to working with families outside this range though I do charge a travel fee.
I have been a doula for 2 years now professionally, but I have been attending and supporting births for 18 years.
I accept all major credit cards, Venmo, cashapp, zelle, cash, checks and FSA/HSA. I am also willing to file a W9 for insurance reimbursement
Doulas are considered medical support and therefore do not charge additional sales tax.

Yes, I have met the eligibility criteria for Carrot benefits.
Yes, I can accept FSA or HSA cards or provide you a detailed invoice for reimbursement.
Yes, I have gone through the process of being able to accept Kaiser insurance and bill Kaiser for payment. But I do request a $500 refundable deposit from Kaiser clients.
